Well, I heard from my parents today, which was a non-gaming day. My grandpa's sitting in a chair, and eating well enough. Looks like his recovery's going along all right, though he's far from out of the woods right now. He's still in the ICU after his surgery, and he's going to need some physical therapy after all this.
Thing of it is, he's being realistic in his outlook after this ordeal. He knows that he can't take care of himself, and he's looking to go into a nursing home after all this is over and done with. My parents will be heading out to his trailer home to check on things, and figure out some logistics.
There is an unofficial offer of his car to me, since he may not be needing it. Getting it out here from Indiana will be interesting to say the least.
Nothing more to report, apart from yet another icon in the bunch.
