This all started Sunday night, I think... That's when the throat started to feel off, plus some sniffles.
I managed to make it through the day on Monday, though I felt like crap to start. I did down some cold tablets to help keep me going, but I still felt chilly during the day.
The nice thing about Monday was when
paladyn came in to fill out a job application during my lunch break.
When I got home, though I really felt ill. I just changed into my comfies and crawled onto the couch. I took my temp before bed, and discovered that my temp was 102. Yeow. I downed some of that Tylenol night time stuff and zonked out.
This morning, my temp was still above 101, and I really felt crappy. So I called in sick, which is something I don't normally do. Thing is, with a small company, in close quarters, one sick person will produce several sick people, as was evident earlier this year when there was a bit of a flu breakout.
When I last took my temp, it was below 100, but I had also been drinking cold liquids before then, so I don't know how accurate it is. Plus, I'm so stuffed up it's tough to breath. The never-ending cough is going to rear its ugly head, I'm sure.
But I should be ready to head back into work tomorrow after resting the whole of today and getting a good night's sleep, with the help of Nyquil.
