Just a few things that have been popping into my mind as of late...

I enjoy coming home from a long day's work. I get greeted each and every day by a smiling Marcus, who says "Daddy!" (or some variant thereof) in a loud voice, and when he sees that I've brought dinner home, he says, "Num num!"
His smile alone can make me forget about the workday. It's as intoxicating as a Percocet.
He continues to amaze us. His vocabulary grows every day. He knows when he's going to bed, too. After his evening bottle (the only real bottle we give him still) of warm milk, he sits on the couch with us for a snuggle, and then maybe five minutes later, he climbs down, takes our hands, and leads us to his crib. After we get him tucked in, he'll say "Ni-ni," and drift off to sleep.
Gotta love him.
