Originally, I had thought of renaming the entries as "Pink's Log," but that sounded too... well... risque, so I came up with this less image-inducing title...


So, a recap from when I last regaled everyone...

Friday 8 Feb 2008
Felt like asbolute crap. Went home around 100pm, changed into comfies, crawled into bed, and just zoned. Had the TV on (Sci-Fi was running episodes from Doctor Who's second series, so I zoned through the last two episodes and into a great X-Files episode on the life of CSM) while I was in and out of consciousness. M and C came home for a while before heading back out for an evening of karaoke at a party, and I stayed home and rested. Still hadn't really eaten anything.

Saturday 9 Feb 2008
Woke up early as Marcus decided to awaken about 600-ish. Brought him into the room so he could watch some TV early on in the morning while C and I dozed. We ran a few errands (That's Entertainment, the vet for more meds for Julius, Wal-Mart), then came home. C went out in the evening to see a play starring one of her former students, and I got Marcus fed and in bed. C and I had dinner late that night after she came home (she even stopped at McD's for a salad for her and a choc shake for me), and watched Torchwood, which I DVR'd. I just had some noodle soup.

Sunday 10 Feb 2008
Marcus slept in longer this morning, which is good.
Had breakfast with Marcus while C went to church, then I took a quick run up to Shaw's to pick up a few things.
After I got back, I started in on the kitchen -- cleared out some cabinets, removed quite a bit of trash, scrubbed surfaces, scrubbed floor, scrubbed stove... cleaned out the bottom/floor level of the pantry... dumped old soda and beer into the commode...
After all that was said and done, I called it quits around 630p so we could get Marcus some dinner and a bath.
After his bath, he found a surprise in his bed -- a leftover Christmas present: a huge stuffed bear that's as big as he is, if not bigger. C got it for $5 through her school. He loves it.
Had a real dinner, and it stayed with me nicely.

Back at work. Right hip is giving me grief. If it bothers me longer than a couple of days, I'll go see someone about it.
Feeling much better.

In other news...

Eight years ago today, Colleen and I met face to face for the first time at a gate at DIA (Dulles).
That was a great V-Day weekend. First of many subsequent trips to Manassas and vicinity.
Met Julius for the first time, and he licked my fingers right off the bat. (That was the clincher for Colleen.)

And we haven't looked back since.
