Here we go again. This time, no fair googling the answers.
Same scoring as before: 1 point per question, with half for the artist, half for the song title. Album titles will be used for tiebreakers.

1. Feeling alone, the army's up the road, salvation a la mode and a cup of tea.

2. It’s a mystery to me, the game commences for the usual fee plus expenses. Confidential information, it’s in a diary. This is my investigation, it’s not a public inquiry.

3. There's a crack in the mirror and a bloodstain on the bed.

4. Bleating and babbling we fell on his neck with a scream. Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity and into the dream.

5. The tax man's taken all my dough and left me in my stately home.

6. If you can just get your mind together, then come on across to me.

7. Got an AK47 for his best friend. Business the American Way.

8. And in wheelchairs by monuments, under tube trains and commuter accidents, in council care and county courts, at Easter fairs at seaside resorts.

9. Thinkin' 'bout the time that you rode in my car, thinkin' that I might've drove you too far.

10. And if you go chasing rabbits and you know you're going to fall, tell 'em a hookah-smoking caterpillar has given you the call.

Deadline is... 1200pm EST Friday 10 March. No googling this time, folks.

Nice softball with number 10. ;)

Other than that one, I have no idea. I tend to tune out the lyrics to a lot of songs so I can listen to the music (and the noise/babble of the singer can be part of the music too).

7. Queensryche - Empire
10. White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane (I saw [livejournal.com profile] potch1214's post first, but I think I would've gotten this one anyway)

So, um, when will you be coming out with a pop version? Maybe something with a little bit of Britney, Christina...or should I wait for Colleens?

From: [identity profile] pfloyd.livejournal.com

That would be... never. I don't do pop music. (Thought you knew that.) I have a hard enough time coming up with lyrics to try and trick people (I see it works with one of my readers) and/or get them to think. I don't softball, usually.

I believe Colleen will be doing more of her type of music, which does not include a lot of pop, as she's a child of the 80's glam/hair metal bands that she knows and loves.

Oooh, 80's gay music...I should do well with that...

Oh Oh Oh! I finally know one. You must have seeded it just for me.

#3 is Concrete Blonde, bloodletting(the Vampire song), on a couple of their albums, but originally on Bloodletting.

I only know two, which is better than last time, when I knew none.

7. Queensryche, "Empire" from the album of the same name.

10. Jefferson Airplane, "White Rabbit"
