Currently, it's 1 degree Fahrenheit outside.
When I get out of here at 8pm, it's gonna be below zero again.
Here's a bit of consolation -- my mum-in-law (who's visiting this weekend) thinks that it's going to be colder in Virginia than it will be up here... good thing we'll be in the 20s.
Break out the inflatable pool and swimfins!

Walking from my car to the front door at work is like 3-5 minutes. I had on my balaclava, jacket (with many layers underneath), black cargo pants bloused into black Hi-Tec Magnum SWAT boots (comfortable once they're nicely broken in... these are about 4 years old, I think). I looked like I should have been leading a SWAT or SEAL operation, especially with the pack on my back. And this was at 1130 this morning.

Fortunately, I know of a really warm spot at work where I could thaw out for a minute or two.
