And so another weekend looms before us all... and what do I ask m'self? What did I get done this week? Probably not a whole lot, in the grand scheme of things...
Tuesday night started out horribly for me. I was just not switched on at all. My first string -- 51. Yep, you read it right. A 51... a good 35 pins or so below my average. I managed to squeak out with an 88 and 78 for the other strings, and as a team, we took 4 out of 8 points.
Colleen has to roll off on Sunday again, since her brother's coming up on Tuesday night.
This weekend, I really have to work on the front room.
Tuesday night, after we were both home, we installed the air conditioners in the living room and bedroom -- at 10.30 at night. We finished them both in just over half an hour. Good thing too, since it was rather warm in the apartment.
Colleen's birthday is Monday. Gonna take her to dinner. I don't really have an actual present for her, since all she wants is a cleaned up front room, so I'll be working on that most of Sunday, except for when we go bowling.
Just finished Dhampir by Barb and JC Hendee yesterday. Rather good vampire fantasy. I'll pick up the second book at some point in the near future.
I feel tired, like I OD'd on Fukitol...
New writing project idea that I'm developing...
The week after Colleen's brother visits, her mum comes up for about a week.
Ah well, I seem to be rambling... just gotta remember to update character sheets for my campaigns...
