I am *not* in that great shape right now...

I think that overnight, I've gotten less than six hours of sleep since Friday morning. I did manage to catch a nap this afternoon, but as to whether or not it did more harm than good will remain to be seen. I have a headache behidn my eyes and in my temples. My appetite's been off today. This has not been a good weekend, apart from getting a free dinner from my parents on Saturday night, along with a few books that Dad's getting rid of.

I also had to upgrade my sound card this weekend. Found out the old one wasn't XP compatible. So now I have a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! But after installing the card, I couldn't hear a damn thing without having the volume all the way up with the old speakers, so I went and bought an inexpensive pair of Altec Lansing powered speakers, and boy, can you tell the difference.

I'm now hooked on Minute Maid limeade and cherry limeade. Is there a support group?

Colleen comes home tomorrow. Good thing too. I think I'm going a bit spare without her here.

Watched a few movies over the weekend. Watched The Usual Suspects on the free In-Demand during lunch on Saturday, then when I got home after dinner, I watched SWAT (which I own anyways) and Bad Boys II. The latter wasn't too bad, but I don't think I'd add it to my library of DVDs.

I planned on having leftover pasta and meat sauce for dinner, but I don't know what my appetite's going to be like. Gotta eat something though.

More later as news warrants, and hopefully it's better news than just a bunch of inane whining.

We have an extra pair of powered mini speakers in the computer room closet. I don't know if it is too late to return the ones you bought. If you can do it, you can have ours.
