Can't believe that it's just after 0900 and I could already use a nap. Well okay, I can believe it.

Last night, I roasted a chicken... not for dinner that night, but to use in a few dishes, including my famous chicken casserole for tonight. Surprisingly, it went quite well. I was pulling the meat off the bones easily enough after it rested for an hour. It was still very hot and very moist inside. The amount of meat off of a 7+lb bird filled a bread pan. Gonna be some good casserole tonight.

At the rate that I'm going, I should have The DaVinci Code done by the weekend. It's a really good read. This is the second Dan Brown book I've read, and so far, both of them are adventures that take place over the course of like one day, if that. Quite interesting how events can be packed together in such a short amount of time.

I'm going to be working on configuring a laptop here today, and hopefully I can get it and one other deployed by end of day Friday. Shouldn't be too bad, really.

No gaming this weekend...

More later as news warrants.

Re: Beg, Borrow or Steal

Actually, it's not really my copy to give out. It belongs to Mom.
Plus, there are one or two people ahead of you.
I do suggest reading Angels and Demons beforehand first.

Only of a sorts. Angels & Demons is a prequel to DaVinci Code, and it just makes for more interesting reading when you read them in that order, since the one makes reference to the other.
