That's it.
I quit.
Four more years of jobs being shipped overseas, which means that I may not be able to get a decent permanent job. I'll be bouncing between contracts and unemployment.
Four more years of, as a friend of mine put it, depression and anger.

At this point, I would have settled for the long, drawn-out fight that might have given a glimmer of hope.

Okay, now that he's won, can he get his friends in the Middle East to lower the prices of fuel so we can fill our tanks for less than a Jackson again? (At least, those of us who aren't driving those monstrous SUVs...)

Just so you know, I respect the Office of the President, not necessarily the man who occupies it.

Those of you who have me on your friends list and disagree with me on this one, it's your right to, That's what this nation is based upon.

Thing is, I am absolutely SPEECHLESS at how the stupidity level of this country has risen. Has everyone been freakin' brainwashed by what Shrub has/hasn't done? He's leading this country into another frickin' Viet Nam. You know that we're not getting out of there until he thinks it's "just right," which means years. He's concentrated so much on this "war" of his that this country's falling apart. He says that he's supportive of the working family; yeah, the working family of Bombay, since that's where they're shipping a lot of the technical jobs I could be getting. (Damned outsourcing is going to ruin technical support.)
As for the draft... well... I wouldn't put it past him, but it will have to go through Congress first. Oh wait, this little action that we've got going in the sand wasn't approved by Congress... Think he'll run a naked bootleg around them again with this one?

I'm worried that he is going to try to pass an amendment to try to extend his presidency since he will feel he is the only one to handle this matter....he was dumb enough to try to do the gay marriage thing
