Who could ever get the hang of Thursdays?
Another half an hour, then the phones close. I've been doing okay today, but I've had a couple of doozies today. Tonight, I think I deserve one of my sippin' sodas. Quality stuff, as opposed to the mass market swill I usually let slosh down my throat.
Anywho, on the home front. C has a late meeting tonight, so I'm on my own when it comes to dinner. I've got leftover sloppy joe filling, so I'll have that with some of the leftover au gratin potatoes that are in the fridge. And since I don't plan on making a mess in the kitchen, I might as well get that in order, along with the living room so C has a nice place to come home to.
Her mum's gonna be up here early Saturday afternoon. I think the plan is that she'll sleep on the couch, but I should get the air bed that morning just in case. I've also got a few meals planned, so that's good.
I picked up Sally last night at Bancroft's new site. All in all, with the tune-up, oil change and replacing the lights, it came to just under $260. I was pleased about that. Now all I need to get is a new radio in the car... hopefully a nice cassette deck that's under $100.
