The Life of Pink

Well another weekend has come and gone. Actually, it was a pretty gorgeous weekend, when you take the past few wintery ones into consideration.
My parents came over to the house on Saturday afternoon, and C went through all the baby clothes with Mom, while Dad and I just pretty much watched the Red Sox pre-season game that was on. (They lost to Tampa Bay, btw. Big deal, it doesn't count for anything.) That evening, we just pretty much relaxed and watched House, which we had taped the previous Tuesday. We also finished up some of the extras on the Incredibles DVD, so my Dad could borrow it, along with Spiderman 2.
Sunday was an interesting one. While C was at mass, I went to Price Chopper to do the usual weekly shop, and to get a few minor things that were needed for brunch. I also fixed up her Easter basket, which had a couple of more clothing bits for Marcus. I made brunch (scrambled eggs with bearnaise sauce, and ham and cheese toasts with a mustard butter and fontina cheese... very filling those), and then while C took a nap, I went to work on the bedroom. I can honestly say that there is now open floor in there. I had to run out to the store mid-afternoon, which spurs on a rant that will be done up in due course. All the details of that running around will be told there. However, we spent the late afternoon into the evening at my parents' place for dinner (more ham! yum!), and C had made this angel food cake with an orange jello center for dessert. Tasty.
So now it's onto Monday, and the weather pretty much sums up my mood. I've got a lack of energy, and I could use a little more sleep. But then again, so could we all.

That's all I have
