1. What does your LJ username mean?
It's a username I used to use way back in the days when I tread on college grounds. It's rather obvious as to its origins.
2. Elaborate on your default icon?
Basically it's me, or how I think I look.
3. Did you lie about your age anywhere on the net?
I don't think so.
4. How many LJ friends do you have?
I have 36 friends, 28 of them mutual. There's another 8 that I have not friended, mostly because I don't really know them.
Personally, I know 21 of the people on my mutual list and another 2-3 on the friends. I count only 21 because I'm on there, and there are a couple of duplicate people, and three that I haven't met face to face as yet.
5. What is your current status?
Alive. Married. Expectant father of a boy. Employed. Low man on the Support totem pole. Peckish, remedying that.
What else would you want?
6. What are you wearing right now?
Skivvies, black socks, rust-colored long sleeve t-shirt, black overshirt, jeans, black Reeboks... and probably quite a few cat hairs.
7. What is life to you?
The collected short and long term memories of a human... um... not exactly sure how to answer this one.
8. What is love to you?
The need for and knowledge of that another person can't handle life without you, and you the same. A mutual trust and openness. It doesn't mean never having to say you're sorry -- you say you're sorry because you care for the other.
9. What kind of people do you hate most?
Stupid people
People who just can't love their fellow man (I HATE people like that!) :)
10. What type of people do you like most?
People who have some goddamned common sense in every day life.
11. What makes you happy?
Knowing that life, in general, is good. Being around my family. Escapism, needed for sanity.
12. Are you musically inclined?
Fairly. I can play guitar, but can't read music. I know good music when I hear it, and after a song is stuck in my head for a while, I can continue to reproduce it there with perfect clarity, since the mind is the best stereo system in the world.
13. What would you do if you woke up one morning and found out that the person you love most didn't exist or was killed?
No existance? Would I know that she existed in my mind? Or am I in a timeline where she doesn't exist and my mind is (un)aware? Is this going to turn into a version of The FOrgotten?
Killed? Mourning. Lots of it. But that would subside over time and I would get on with my life, but knowing that the person is still with me.
14. If you could go back in time and change one thing what would it be?
I would have done much better in school... most likely not at WPI, wouldn't change that aspect, but maybe really put the spurs on while at UMass, because I would want to keep both sets of people in my life.
15. If you MUST be an animal for ONE day what would it be?
Easy. A cat, more specifically our cat, Julius.
16. Ever had a near death experience?
If you mean seeing the light at the end of a long tunnel and all that, then no, I haven't. However, I do recall getting a sense of a different reality spawned at different point where I know I would have been toast.
17. Name ONE obvious personality quality you have?
Humour.
18. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
Considering I have the radio on and it's a fairly decent song, none. But what I hear right now is Led Zepplin's "Ramble On"
19. Are you happy today?
Depends on the topic.
Happy about work? Yes and no.
Happy about the kiddo? Definitely.
Happy in general? On the whole, yes.
