With cars, nothing ever really works out...

So we took the car to the body shop at Bancroft Motors on Tuesday (12/16). We were told that it should be done by today (12/19). However, it's not done. As of this morning, the new ETA for the car's repairs was Tuesday 12/23. So, Colleen calls back, tells them that we have plans in which the car is a necessary item (re: our annual trip to Virginia), and if it won't be done by Christmas Eve, we'll need to arrange a car and such. So, now the new ETA is Monday.

Squeaky wheel gets the kick...

So last night, Colleen has the school play. She got roped into being one of the co-directors. Afterwards, a bunch of the teachers and the two priests go to the local Chili's in Shrewsbury. I'm invited along.
Here's the kicker:
From about 5pm yesterday afternoon through, oh, 10.30 at night, I couldn't stop shivering. I also wasn't feeling all that hungry, so I didn't eat anything there.
Turns out... I had a 102.5 fever when we got home last night.
I got some Nyquil down my neck, and at about 6am this morning, I was down to 99.8.
When I got to work, I was 100.5.
At 2pm, I was 99.6, after taking some cold meds.

Gods, I hope I'm not sick this weekend...
