First off, I would like to thank everyone for their support and well wishes after the big post on what happened with us. It's very much appreciated, and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Marcus is doing well, though he doesn't like to fall asleep at night unless someone is holding him. And when I mean night, folks, I mean after midnight. It's about the latest I feel comfortable staying up when I have to work the next day. If we put him in his bassinet, he'll be crying in the next five minutes. *sigh*
I know parenting isn't easy. I know there are plenty of sacrifices to be made. I know schedules go out the window. I know that personalities will change.

On Saturday, we got a new toy: a Samsung DV video/digital camera combo. It does digital pictures at 5 megapixels, and uses an SD/MMC card for the still picture memory. This is good, because I can stick the card in my Palm Pilot and show them to people. Love it. We haven't done any movies as of yet, but we will soon.
Pictures will be uploaded for viewing sometime during the week. I may work on it tonight, who knows.

I've been handing out chocolate cigars here at work during the morning break today. I did tape a picture to the inside of the lid so that people could have a look at the kiddo.

I felt like hell this morning. I got to bed maybe 100am. Tired alarm wakes me in the morning at 645. I kept hitting snooze until 730. I was waking up with a mild headache, so I took my temp just in case it was a mild fever. Nope, I was running at a decent temp. Shower sort of helped me get a jumpstart. Food when I got to work helped too.
Doesn't help that I'm here alone again.
That's okay, I'll be getting back at him when I take my floater days.

Let the insanity of the afternoon begin.
Make that insanity followed by boredom. In one short period of time, that phone can be ringing off the hook while I'm on a call. Other times, sheer silence, which is what I'm welcoming right now.
I just don't feel like I can get much done on the side while working solo. Never know when that phone's going to ring, and since I'm technically first call, meaning I grab the phone first...

Found out that the Mom-in-Law is staying until the 26th. That's a Thursday. Odd day for me to start taking time off. Have to figure this one out.
While I'm away from work, though, I might as well get a really good go on the front room too.
