And so we come to the start of yet another work week in the land of dreams.

Which means one thing: a recap of the weekend.

Friday night was typical for us: Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, and the recording of Monk. We didn't actually watch Monk as of yet, since a certain little guy had to have a bath. He's getting to like them, or at least tolerate them.

Saturday was, well, atypical. We went to my company's annual summer picnic. I brought pesto tortellini, of which there was maybe 40% of it left at the end of the outing. Colleen had fun meeting everyone and talking with the others here, and Marcus was a huge hit with everyone. There were a few other little ones around, but ours is, of course, the cutest. He wasn't so much the flirt this time, though.
Saturday night held the arrival of Mom-in-Law. She loved seeing Marcus, commenting that he's gotten bigger since her last visit. He loved his new bear that his uncle Johnny got for him, so now he has Bunny and Bear, both made out of washcloth material, so they're soft and chewable.

Sunday had us doing a bit of cleaning around the place. We took a break in the afternoon to go candlepin bowling. We only did a couple of strings, and I was below what I typically was last summer for the league. Then again, I haven't bowled since then, either. I'm so out of practice.
Mom and Dad came around last night for a cookout. I did rather well for my first time cooking with charcoal. I wouldn't mind doing it again, really.

Oh, we now have a date for Marcus' baptism -- 16 October.
