Try this yourself...

Modern, Cool Nerd
52 % Nerd, 56% Geek, 34% Dork
For The Record: A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia. A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one. A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions. You scored better than half in Nerd and Geek, earning you the title of: Modern, Cool Nerd. Nerds didn't use to be cool, but in the 90's that all changed. It used to be that, if you were a computer expert, you had to wear plaid or a pocket protector or suspenders or something that announced to the world that you couldn't quite fit in. Not anymore. Now, the intelligent and geeky have eeked out for themselves a modicrum of respect at the very least, and "geek is chic." The Modern, Cool Nerd is intelligent, knowledgable and always the person to call in a crisis (needing computer advice/an arcane bit of trivia knowledge). They are the one you want as your lifeline in Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or the one up there, winning the million bucks)! Congratulations!

Mom-in-Law is heading back for home early this afternoon. We already know she'll be back up for a brief visit sometime in the next month, so that's a good thing. She's always welcome.

Marcus has new toys to play with, including a play mat with hanging things and music. It's a Baby Einstein mat, and he was just having a ball. Usually, he's napping on Colleen's chest when I leave for work. Today, he was wide awake and having a good old time on that mat, smiling away and making lots of happy noises.
Last night we all went out to the 99 for dinner. Marcus was a hit with our waitress, even when he conked out. And he stayed conked out until this morning. That kid got a lot of sleep over the past few days.

Me, I'm frickin' drowsy. I'm going to start getting to sleep earlier than midnight, I think, unless it's a Friday or Saturday or a night before a holiday. I could do with a nap already, and it's not even lunchtime.

Being Thursday, it's time to start looking at the weekend. This is Colleen's last free weekend before school starts up, so we're going to work on the house as much as possible before the whole shebang kicks in. She's fearful about the incoming class this year -- the second grade teacher is already planning on giving her a very large (read: BJ's-sized) bottle of Tylenol. And when she's weaned Marcus off of her, she may be having a drink before/with dinner.
