It seems like I'm not doing as many posts as I normally do, unless I find an interesting meme or do a weekend update.
Speaking of which...

Friday night: Colleen, Marcus and I went to Shaw's when I got home, instead of C heading off to the gym. I wanted to pick up groceries before the storm was going to hit. We also picked up dinner there. Colleen got a fried chicken dinner that wasn't too bad (at least the piece of chicken I ate Sunday lunch), and I got a shepherd's pie that, in all fairness, wasn't too bad but nowhere even close to what I can whip up. Plus it lacked gravy.
We watched some of the Olympics opening ceremonies. On the whole, I wasn't all that impressed, but there were some moments (when I was watching) that were rather cool, like the lighting of the Flame from the Torch.
C cheered for Hungary when they marched into the stadium (she's part Hungarian, you know... as well as Austrian. I've got Hungarian in me too, but I'm more German than anything else.)
Other than that, I watched Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis.

Saturday: Marcus went off to spend the day with my parents as C and I began to work on the front room. C, however, had to go to Fallon Urgent Care to have something not-terribly-serious checked out (antibiotics required), whilst I moved boxes out into the front hall, out of a path of egress. We have a system for clearing out my gaming shelves, and I'm finding stuff that I'm not going to be using anytime soon, or have never used at all. When I get through going through the shelves, those games are off to That's Entertainment for store credit. I'm also finding lots of papers I can get rid of, as well as material for a GURPS campaign I'm rewriting and would like to run again.
We had dinner at my parents' place that night, and came home to watch more Olympics.

Sunday: Set out to do more cleaning. Ended up having a nice two-hour rest/nap with C and M in the bedroom while Coupling was on BBC America.
Watched more Olympics as well. Had a nice steak dinner.

And we come back to Monday, start of another work week.
Each night I'm going to work on some of the boxes in the front hall, sifting through everything.
By Saturday, we should have some room in there for a piece of furniture one of C's kid's parents wants to give us.
Hopefully I can find a little time here and there to work on my GURPS games.
I've also been fighting off a cold for the past few days. Comtrex didn't help at all when it was heavy. I resorted to the Tylenol brand of cold stuff, which worked lots better, especially the nighttime stuff. Now that it's lighter, I downed a couple of Comtrex just to take the edge off. Another odd thing with this cold -- I blow my nose and I blow out my right ear. Feels like I'm popping the eardrum or something. Hurts at times, annoying as hell.
Oh well.
