I have to tell you that I don't really have the drive to be here today. All I have to do is look out the window and think, "Dear Gods, I have to drive home in that!" It's at that point that it all washes out of me and I begin to wonder if they're going to tell us to get out of here before it gets even worse than it is now. Avoid the evening commute and all that.
Of course, this just makes me feel chilly, even moreso than it can be here in the office. Certain spots are nice and warm. Others have a cool side to them. The lunch room is one of the cooler spots in the building. Bathrooms too.
I've already got tonight's activities planned out -- do the dishes, make a nice egg dinner, and sit back to watch TV.
Tomorrow we'll go get the smaller Christmas tree from my parents' place and set it up so that there's something for Marcus. First Christmas and all.
The rest of the weekend involves cleaning the apartment. Kitchen, pantry, dining and living areas.

Okay, just had lunch, and there's a good 6-8 inches on the tables and benches on the patio outside. This is freakin' nuts.

Good luck with the xmas tree. Aiyre was a little too young the first xmas, but the second she really got into the tree. Actually, she is still really into the tree.

Hope you made it home in one piece. It seemed like the snow had stopped by about 4pm. Nice backup plan with the Stop-n-Shop thing.
