Well, today is officially my last day with UnumProvident.
I can honestly say that it's been a good run.
Hell, even my supervisor gave me a great review... self-starter, could handle the queue and he wouldn't have to worry about it while I was here.
All excellent points.
I can even use him as a reference.
In fact, I've been told on the sly to keep his number handy... there may be some slots on the team opening up at some point.
Other good things:
I've been pretty much left alone to handle this. There's been a lot of down time, so I look at that as time on my own. I've reviewed some stuff for my Network+ exams, did some gaming type stuff, kept up to date on my LJ (and others, mind you)...
The only downside to this job was the shift: 12p-8p. When I got home, I didn't feel like cooking anything big, so Colleen and I usually scrounged stuff. Nuker was heavily used, and I've eaten more fried eggs in the past couple of months than I do all year. The commute wasn't bad either -- like five minute drive from home. Can't beat that with a stick.
And so, another entry goes on the resume.
Let's hope my next gig is just as good.
More later as news warrants.
And to all the big fuzzy puppies out there: Awooowowowooooo
