Interesting weekend, I would think...
Friday: Went to Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield for Mum's birthday dinner. Had some of the best prime rib I've ever eaten. I must've been hungry, because I devoured just about every edible pbit of beef on that thing. I couldn't finish my piece of chocolate cake (9 layers with butter cream frosting), so I brought that home. The rolls and muffins that are served with the salad course were very good, even the squash muffins. Got home probably around 10ish, and decided to just hit bed.
Saturday: Afternoon game was called off. Ran a couple of errands, and went to see The Ladykillers at the cheap theatre. Dark comedy but very amusing. Played D&D that night, and ended up with a bit of a cold bug due to an open window (which I hadn't noticed until just before we broke up for the night around 1am) and the lack of a warm shirt. Tummy wasn't in great shape either, but then again, I didn't eat dinner that night. (Shame on me, I know...)
Sunday: Woke up with a 100.0 fever. Went to my parents' house for a BBQ and to spend time, since it was Mum's birthday. Brought a pie, came home with half the pie and half of Mum's bday cake. Sacked out while watching the Coupling marathon on BBC America.
Monday: Woke up feeling better. (Nyquil's great stuff.) Bummed around a little in the morning, then saw Shrek 2 with Colleen and the 'rents. Very funny movie, would suggest it to anyone. There's something for the kids and the adults in it. A lot of it is background stuff, so if you blink, you might miss something. Did a little house cleaning and laundry, then just sort of crashed out for the night.
Tuesday: Back to the grind, plus we roll tonight.
Wish I felt better. I could do with a bit more sleep, plus my legs have problems of their own. Hopefully they'll clear up by tonight, with a little help from naproxen...
