You have things under control and things can be looking up, life comes along and gives you a few kicks in the teeth.

This morning, I was out running an errand. Before I could even get to where I was going, I got pulled over by an officer in Auburn. Turns out that through some snafu or other, my insurance was cancelled and registration nixed, all without my knowledge. Nice going, insurance and State of Massachusetts. So now, my car's towed, and I have to arrange new insurance and plates before I can get it back.

I hate things at times...

If you need a ride down to the DMV or anything, you should contact Emily. I'm sure she'd be happy to help. She was looking for you guys anyway to get the alarm remote control back.

All set on the ride front. I'm using Colleen's car today to do the running about.
I may call her on Wednesday for a ride to where the car was towed, though.

How or why can they just randomly cancel your insurance? Did you miss a payment or something?

There was a hell of a snafu late last year which resulted in an adjustment of like $500+ dollars, plus the new premiums were like twice what I was paying before. After getting the snafu straightened out, I was told that everything was all set. I was sent new paperwork, and no mention of an adjustment from the previous year was mentioned ever again... at least, until now. So since that was never paid, according to their records, my policy was cancelled.
I'm going to stick with the new company for at least a year before seeing what I can get from someone else.
