Again, ganked from [livejournal.com profile] firefly062

Using your current initials, choose a different name for yourself
Alex Hayes Jacobs... that's just off the top of my head

If you were born outside of your era, when would you want to be born and why?
Not sure. I like feudal Japan, but I'm not sure I'd want to live there. I don't have any other historical interests outside of today.

If you ran a store, what would you sell/have?
Books, comics, RPGs and computer stuff

What part in a movie would you love to play?
A movie where aikido is portrayed in a better way than Steven Seagal Sensei has portrayed it. Either that or a movie where Wicca is seen as a good thing rather than having the stigma it already has in society.

In your opinion, why do people suck?
Because they're inherently stupid, they don't read, and lack courtesy.

If you had your own state, what would you put on your new quarter?
Um... the state seal, which I haven't quite come up with as yet.

What's your biggest guilty pleasure dealing with music?
None. I only get the stuff I like. Though I do admit to owning an Ace of Base CD single and a Charlie Daniels tape, both of which have gone missing.

What's the oldest article of clothing you own?
That I don't know... maybe my duster, which I got about ten years ago and could stand to be replaced since it's a bit on the large side on me.

What piece of furniture have you replaced the most?
Nothing as of yet. The only thing that [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 and I replaced was the futon frame.

What type of art do you think more people should support?
Anything.

What instrument do you wish you could be more than great at?
Guitar, which I already play to some ability... flute...

Record, Tape, or CD?
CD

What do you think would be the best concert ever? (max: 4 bands)
Pink Floyd in 94 (Division Bell Tour), Roger Waters In the Flesh (1999-2000), Live Aid, and I don't know

What's the best part of your favorite movie?
You mean I have to choose one particular movie? Can't do it, man...

What do you think is the most over-rated candy ever?
Anything which licorice or coconut

If you were writing out your will, who would you give your CD collection to?
[livejournal.com profile] silvara77, since she likes some of the same bands as me, but doesn't have the CDs

If you could only debate two topics the rest of your life, what would they be?
Religion and... well... society today (current events and the like).

Out of your friends, who would you say you are most jealous of, artistically?
None. I don't think any of my friends are artists to any extent, apart from those who write.

Most jealous of... cerebrally?
None. We've all got different brain activities, and it's fun to pick from all of them.

Most jealous of... socially?
None... can't explain why, really.

What do you collect?
Comics, RPG material, books, music...

What is broken that you have, that you wish was fixed?
Our credit, so we can start looking for a house...
My innards...

What do you do when you're home sick?
Lie on the couch and watch the tube, plus a little computer time... read... sleep...

:o) It's ok...I'm so bored that I scour LJ for random crap to fill out...It's ridiculous...

...and I might have had an Ace of Bass single as well....ouch.

And to make matters worse...

Back in 94 when I bought that CD, I also bought ZZ Top's Antenna. Mind you, I'm a huge ZZ fan, so I have no problems there. Then I read an article about them in one of my guitar magazines during that month, only to find that Billy F Gibbons (guitar, vocals) absolutely loved "All That She Wants" (which is the single I bought), and kept playing it through the interview and photo shoot.

Go figure.

Strangely, that actually makes me feel a little better about owning it...
