Well this wasn't much of a whiz-bang weekend, really. But, for the sake of posterity, I'll summarize...

Friday night: After another night of not getting a hell of a lot of sleep (Thursday overnight into Friday wee hours, conking out sometime around 3am, and being rather, well, delirious and out of it when awakened at 0530), this was decided to be a night of just rest. I don't remember anything done apart from watching Monk and Stargate SG1. I did, however, manage to get some real sleep that night, without any pills or artificial induction.

Saturday: Some brief errands in the morning, mostly centering around [livejournal.com profile] silvara77's new hobby -- beading. She's really good at it. Already she's produced a couple of necklaces and two or three pairs of earrings. After those, we managed to get in a D&D session, and then retired to home for another night of resting. I do suggest watching Comic Book: The Movie to any and all comic and/or convention fans out there. It was a very amusing movie indeed. Oddly enough, the convention at which the movie takes place -- Comic Con -- was held this past weekend in San Diego. How's that for serendipity?

Sunday: Yet another day of rest, when I should have been working on the front room, but I was outvoted. [livejournal.com profile] silvara77 and I did go to the market in the morning for a bit of grocery shopping, then returned home in time for lunch while watching our usual Sunday lunchtime entertainment, "Candlepin Stars and Strikes" on a local New Hampshire station. Yes, it proves that we're candlepin geeks. The rest of the afternoon was just spent hanging around the apartment, resting, relaxing, watching TV and a bit of fun on the computer. (Started playing Throne of Darkness again. It's like a Japanese Diablo II, in a broad sense. Rather fun.)

But now it's back to the daily grind, only my boss is out on vacation for the next two weeks. We call these days Unholy Days, for reasons that I shall not divulge at this time.

More later as news warrants.
At least I wasn't so whiny and full of complaints this time.
